Covenanted blessing

You came…‘cloven tongues of fire’

Flame of heaven inspiring,

Passion in the passionless

Wholeness for our brokenness

Integrity acquiring

You came…’dunamis’ from on high

Power from heaven, energising.

Strength to cover weaknesses

Reliever of our great distress

Miracles realising

You’re here…oft grieved & still resisted

Gentle dove of heaven, You persisted.

Dwelling in this heart of mine
